The state Duma adopted the law on the demolition of the Moscow five-story building

The state Duma adopted in the third final reading the bill on the renovation of housing in Moscow, which provides for the demolition of dilapidated five-story building. About it reports TASS.

Now the document must be approved by the Federation Council and signed by the President. The day of the official publication of the law (this date not yet known) will be terminated, the inclusion in the list of the houses slated for demolition.

“In the course of finalizing the bill we introduced a large number of amendments, and now with confidence we can say that the concerns of those who wish residential house participated in the program, decided that all rights of citizens are protected very effectively,” — said the Chairman of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.

To demolish Moscow Khrushchev and build in their place new housing the leadership of the capital requested in February the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The renovation programme includes more than 4.5 thousand objects, their future voting will determine tenants. According on 6 June, residents of the 100 houses have already voted against the inclusion in the renovation programme.

The beginning of the resettlement of five-story building is scheduled for autumn 2017. The first district will be Beskudnikovo in the North of Moscow. Residents of the demolished houses will provide new apartments in the same or nearby area.
