June 13, in the region on lands of all categories is prohibited campfires, burning of dry grass, garbage and carrying out of fire works. In addition, during the term of the emergency people are not allowed to visit the forest. The penalty for violating the ban is from four to five hundred thousand roubles.
At the end of may, the Ministry of emergency situations of Russia has established the state of emergency at the Federal level in the Krasnoyarsk region and the Irkutsk region from-for forest fires. The situation was complicated because of the hot weather and strong winds. The fires damaged 10 villages, burned houses 144. Disaster victims were two men.
