Federal air transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) has sent the airline a telegram with a request to provide information about the number of pilots who have resigned since the beginning of 2015 and before June 1, 2017 and passed on to work abroad. As reported TASS, the Agency will wait for responses until June 15.
The Federal air transport Agency is interested in “the names and number of the certificate of the aviation specialist of civil aviation in respect of which there is reliable information about their employment in foreign airlines”, — stated in the telegram, signed by the head of the Agency Alexander Neradko.
June 9, the media learned that in 2014 Russia left more than 300 pilots of civil aviation. The specialists of higher qualification get a job in Asian companies. The publication “Kommersant” noted that the Exodus has affected other Russian carriers like S7, “Ural airlines” and “Vim-Avia”. According to the newspaper, the reason of labor migration have become uncompetitive salaries. So, in China, the average salary of a pilot ranges from 17 to 25 thousand dollars a month (968 thousand of 1.42 million). In Russia, the co-pilot now gets 320-350 thousand rubles per month, the aircraft commander — 470 thousand, the instructor is more than 500 thousand rubles.
After the appearance of this publication, the state Duma sent a request to the Minister of transport. “We ask to explain the reason for such a situation and indicate the measures taken to reduce these trends,” — said the Chairman of the Committee of the lower house of Parliament on labour and social policy Yaroslav Nilov.
