The Kremlin has responded to the decision to postpone the campaign of opposition on the Tver

Moscow. June 12. INTERFAX.RU — it is Necessary to avoid any provocative and unlawful actions in a situation with inconsistent transfer protests on Tverskaya street in Moscow, says the Kremlin.

The Dozhd TV channel quoted the press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov, who said that the situation with the transfer of the stock of the opposition from the Academician Sakharov Avenue on Tverskaya street is a matter of the municipality. However, the press Secretary of the head of state added that “it is important to avoid any provocative and unlawful action.”

Earlier today, the head of Department of regional security of Moscow Vladimir Tchernikov has declared “to Interfax” that the intention of the opposition to move dedicated to the Russia Day rally, Sakharov Avenue on Tverskaya street is provocative. However, he stressed that this will not affect policing in the city.

Late last night Navalny on its website published a call to organize a peaceful procession on the Tver in the Russia Day on June 12. Previously, the Moscow authorities allowed to hold a rally on Sakharov Avenue, but, according to the politician, he has failed to negotiate with the contractors about installing stage and sound equipment. He referred to the fact that contractors are not allowed to cooperate with him in the city administration.
