Media: Saudi Arabia, unknown assailants attacked a patrol of security
MOSCOW, June 12 — RIA Novosti. The security officer of Saudi Arabia were killed in an attack on a patrol in the East of the country, two more officers were injured, reports channel “al Arabiya”.
According to TV channel, the attack occurred in the village of al-Awamia the Eastern province of al-Qatif.
The representative of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Saudi Arabia confirmed to Sky News Arabia, the attack on the patrol and the death of the officer.
According to him, the patrol car was carried out by a police control when she was abandoned “explosive device”.
Reportedly, the incident resulted in major Tariq Ben Abdullatif al-Alaki. Two more officers were injured. Their condition is estimated as stable.
