MOSCOW, June 12. /TASS/. The total number detected during search and rescue operations in the Andaman sea of the bodies of passengers of a military transport aircraft Y-8 of the Armed forces of Myanmar have reached 59. This was reported by the Agency Xinhua.

According to him, at the moment rescuers managed to get out of the water the bodies of 26 men, 23 women and nine children, to identify the remains of another person is not possible. Search operation is underway off the southern coast of Myanmar, it involves nine ships of the Navy of the Republic, air force and local fishermen.

Y-8 took off on June 7 from Myeik city, located in the Tanintharyi region in the South of the country, in Yangon. Its wreckage was discovered in the sea. According to the armed forces of Myanmar, on Board the plane were 122 passengers: 14 crew members and 108 members of the armed forces and their families. About 70 of them civilians, in particular, on Board were 15 children.
