About 2.5 million people went on mass celebrations in Moscow

Russia day is celebrated for the fifteenth time. Ten years before that it existed as the Day of adoption of Declaration on state sovereignty of the Russian Federation (in the people — the independence Day). The document on the establishment of the holiday was adopted at the first Congress of people’s deputies in 1990. On 12 June, Russia declared a day off, throughout the country traditionally held mass celebrations.
