The reports that the shooter Kratovo Igor Zenkov was able to go into the forest through the cordon of police are untrue. About it as transfers RIA Novosti, on Sunday, June 11, said the head of the press service of the Moscow Central Board of the Ministry of internal Affairs Tatyana Petrova.
“The territory of houses was cordoned off and has taken all necessary measures to prevent new victims. Joint efforts of police and Regardie the offender was eliminated on the territory of its plot. Thanks to harmonious actions of law enforcement officers, he has failed to go beyond the cordon, where he was blocked,” — said Petrov.
Earlier, on 10 June, a source in law enforcement agencies reported that after arriving at the scene of the police and employees of Regardie Zenkov managed to escape to a nearby forest, where he was after some time discovered and shot.
The incident occurred in Kratovo not far from Moscow on June 10. Zenkov shot and killed four people, and then to the place of profit employees of the interior Ministry and Regardie, but the man fought them off, starting to throw grenades at security forces (presumably improvised). During the RAID, which lasted about seven hours, Zenkov was killed. On the basis of one employee Regardie got wounds of moderate severity, three more are wounded easily.
According to the source in law enforcement bodies, the personal belongings Zenkova was found a suicide note in which he complained to father in bad relationship with the neighbors.
