According to tradition, in London’s green Park was made a volley of 41 historical guns officers of the Royal squadron of horse artillery, dressed for the occasion in dress clothes.
The Duke himself spent the day at Windsor castle and did not participate in any public events.
Moreover, as it became known earlier, in the autumn of this year, it will cease to perform public duties of a member of the Royal family.
