Moscow. June 11. INTERFAX.RU Planes from Moscow fly to Kamchatka from-for activity of volcanoes Shiveluch and Klyuchevskoy, reports the Sunday Main Department of EMERCOM of Russia in Kamchatskiy Krai.

In the MOE explained that, in accordance with the forecast information resource VAAK TOKYO, perhaps the passage of the ash plume at an altitude of eight kilometers over the southern areas of the Peninsula (Milkovo, Elizovo, Ust-bolsheretskiy municipal district, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Vilyuchinsky urban Okrug) in the direction of the sea of Okhotsk.

Therefore, the management of the main airport of Kamchatka, located in the town of Yelizovo, encouraged the pilots to postpone the departure of several interregional flights in order to prevent possible diversion of aircraft to ash clouds.

“The forecast resource TOKYO VAAK is valid till 11 Jun 2017 17:20 on the Kamchatka time (8:20 MSK)”, — noted in the MOE.

Rescuers emphasize that all other flights, including local, are on schedule. The airport works in a regular mode.

The MOE remind that on Saturday the volcano Shiveluch threw two column of ash to a height of six to eight kilometers above sea level, and the column of ash from the Klyuchevskoy volcano has risen to seven kilometers above sea level. Sunday Klyuchevskoy threw a five-kilometer column of ash.

According to rescue agencies, pelopidas in the settlements of the region are not registered.
