Komi also said that he first learned about the alleged attack Russia with American institutions of government in the summer of 2015.

“The first information about cyber-attacks related to Russia, I got in late summer 2015,” said Komi.

The FBI is investigating allegations of alleged attempts by the Russian government to influence the presidential elections in 2016, as well as related issues. In parallel proceedings on this subject are the special Committee on intelligence of the Senate and house of representatives of the Congress of the United States.

Trump and his key aides repeatedly rejected suspicions of any improper contacts with Russian officials during the period of the last year’s election campaign. Moscow also denied allegations of attempts to influence the presidential elections in the United States.
