Putin said that ISIS is preparing a plan to destabilize Central Asia
ASTANA, 9 Jun — RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the banned terrorist organization “Islamic state” is preparing plans for the destabilization of Central Asia and the southern regions of Russia, and the investigation of the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg confirmed the existence of cell organization in the SCO countries.

“The SCO member States created and operate a clandestine cell of ISIS. This was shown by the investigation of the attack and in Russia, in St. Petersburg. According to reports, ISIL is preparing new plans for the destabilization of Central Asia and the southern regions of Russia”, — Putin said at a meeting of SCO leaders in Astana.
“We need to strengthen the coordination of the secret services organization (SCO ed.), including through regional anti-terrorist structure,” added Putin.
