MOSCOW, 8 Feb — RIA Novosti. Basmanny court of Moscow until September extended the arrest of ex-head of Mari El Leonid Markelov accused of receiving a bribe of 235 million rubles, RIA news from the courtroom.
Markelov is in the detention center “Lefortovo”.
Investigative Committee opened against him and his alleged accomplices criminal case under article “receiving a bribe”, “bribery”, “bribery mediation”.
Investigators believe that Markelov received through a Trustee Natalia Kozhanov from the founder of the factory “Akashevskaya” Nicholas Crevase as a bribe more than 235 million rubles for the protection of and assistance with property payment of funds of state support to development of agricultural complex.
The alleged briber, the Deputy Kripalu, was charged in absentia for bribery, he, according to the investigator, declared the Federal wanted list. Speaking, according to the investigation, intermediary in bribery the head of channel “12 region” Natalia Kozhanova is in custody.
