The Ministry of agriculture in the Magadan region, recognized as the most drinking region of the country, announced the reduction of alcohol consumption. This was reported on the website of the regional government.
It is noted that if in 2012 one person in absolute terms, accounted for 14.9 liters of alcohol, then in 2014 is 12.2 liters, and in 2016-m to 9.7 liters. To improve the situation contributed to measures aimed at reducing alcohol abuse, including banning the sale of alcoholic beverages in a night (from 22:00 to 10:00).
“The market of alcohol production is formed due to the importation of alcohol from other regions and for beer production and beer production. In addition, in the first quarter of this year from the territory of the Special economic zone of Magadan region exported 13.3 thousand decalitres of alcoholic products on the territory of the Republic of Sakha, 9.1 thousand decaliters to the address of recipients, located in Chukotka,” — said in the message.

Also among the drinkers regions were Moscow, the Sakhalin oblast and Komi Republic, where the volume of sales exceeded 13 liters of alcohol per person. The low volume of sales of alcoholic beverages per capita was recorded in Ingushetia and Chechnya — 0.1 liters, the Kabardino-Balkar Republic — 0.5 liters, the Republic of North Ossetia — 0,6 liters.
