Medvedev called love for the presentation of state awards of the Russian tradition
In Russia “I love the state awards and to give and to receive.” According to the head of the government Dmitry Medvedev, “these are the traditions of our country.”
He stated this during the presentation of government awards to employees of the Executive authorities, reports “RIA Novosti”.
In Medvedev’s opinion, “nothing wrong there”. “Somewhere in this paying less attention to, I believe that the best gift is money or something else. But we have state awards are important,” — said Medvedev.
The Prime Minister presented a medal of Stolypina of I degree academic supervisor of the Higher school of Economics (HSE) Yevgeny Yasin. HSE rector Yaroslav Kuzminov was awarded the Stolypin medal, II degree. Head of Department of the Tretyakov gallery Nina Davydova, the chief editor of “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” Vladislav Fronin received the thanks of the government.
