The plane took off on Wednesday, June 7, from Mergui in the South to Yangon. According to the armed forces of Myanmar, on Board were 108 people from the members of military families. The crew consisted of 14 people.

Communication with the aircraft was lost in 32 kilometers to the East of the city of Tavoy, when the plane flew over the sea.
