“Authorities reported that one explosive device was defused near the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini this morning,” the statement reads.
Earlier, on 7 June it became known that a group of armed men attacked the mausoleum, one of them blew him wearing a vest with explosives. In the attack one person was lost, five more got wounds. It is known that the second attacker was liquidated by security forces of Iran. Two more people were arrested.
In addition, on the morning of this day three people attacked the building of the Iranian Parliament. It is known that as a result of the incident killed one person, probably a guard. Three more were injured. One of the armed men involved in the attack, managed to leave it and opened fire on the street.
