Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin thanked the citizens who participated in the discussion of the renovation program. He stated this during the parliamentary hearings in the state Duma. Stream the performances to be conducted on the Moscow city Duma on Twitter.
“This is very important, it does not leave indifferent anybody: neither in Moscow, nor in other regions. The discussion was not limited to solving the problems of people living in the demolished five-storey buildings, those who were in the provisional list. The discussion also touched on people who live near these neighborhoods, residents throughout Moscow, because they are concerned about issues associated with transportation, the environment, property rights of citizens, protection of their property”, — quotes the mayor the Agency “Moscow”.
The new program will be better than the one which was implemented in the capital of the last 20 years, Sobyanin promised. According to him, the program is supporting the people 90 percent of the demolished five-story building. “If more than one third of the inhabitants voted against, the house is excluded from the renovation program,” reminded the mayor.
To carry the capital Khrushchev and build in their place new housing ordered in February the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. In the list of houses which can be included in the program includes more than 4.5 thousand objects. Future houses will determine their tenants in voting, which will last until June 15.
