Putin discussed with the head of the German foreign Ministry issues in Russian-German relations

Russian President Vladimir Putin and foreign Minister of Germany, Sigmar Gabriel discussed at the meeting in the Konstantinovsky Palace in Strelna issues of Russian-German relations, the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.

“At the end of the working day in the Konstantinovsky Palace, Putin met with Minister of foreign Affairs of Germany Gabriel, who arrived at the St. Petersburg international economic forum. Discussed the issues of bilateral Russian-German relations”, – said Peskov told reporters.

Earlier it was reported that Gabriel went to Russia to participate in St. Petersburg international economic forum. The program of the visit – meeting with the Minister of foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov, is scheduled to discuss, among other things, the situation in Ukraine and Syria.
