Deputy foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Ryabkov said that the expansion of US sanctions against Russia cause deep disappointment. It is reported by RIA “Novosti”.
“It is sad and disappointed that after the change of administration in Washington stop trying to apply the same unworkable scheme to the Russian organizations and our compatriots. It is clear that the desired effect, the authors of this policy will not succeed this time,” he said.
He noted that the foreign Ministry the question of possible response to new sanctions immediately took to study.
“We will decide (with response), based on all of the need not to drive the relationship is in a standstill and work on the prospect of improving them. But the current actions of the U.S. Treasury does not help to solve this problem,” he said.
Earlier it was reported that the United States imposed sanctions against three Russian companies from-for nuclear programs of the DPRK.
