MOE warns of worsening weather in the 19 regions

Forecasters predict strong wind and freezing.

MOSCOW, June 2. /TASS/. Weather in 19 regions of the Central and Volga Federal districts on Saturday will be significantly affected, 11 of them are expected with gusts of wind up to 28 meters per second, in a number of subjects of the Russian Federation are projected to be frozen.

This was reported by TASS in the press service of the Central regional emergency center.

“The second in June 2017 from the hydrometcentre of Russia was received predictions about the worsening weather conditions in several areas of the Central and Volga regions. Third June under the impact of the adverse events fall within the Vladimir, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kirov, Kostroma, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, Orenburg, Ryazan, Saratov, Samara, Smolensk, Tambov, Yaroslavl (region), Perm Krai, Republic of Bashkortostan, Republic of Mari El, Republic of Tatarstan,” — said the press service.

According to the interlocutor of the Agency, in separate areas of Bashkiria, the Perm edge and the Orenburg region gusts of wind can reach 25-28 m/s, and the Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Tambov, Kirov, Samara, Saratov and Tatarstan to 18-22 m/s during the thunderstorm.

“In General, in these 22 regions will be moderate precipitation in the form of rain, with thunderstorms and sleet in some regions at night are expected frosts down to minus two degrees,” — said the center.

As noted in a press-service, due to the bad weather increasing the likelihood of power outages, damaged power lines and communication lines. “CRC of EMERCOM of Russia recommends that the population not to leave their homes to avoid the broad and poorly fortified structures, roofs of buildings and trees, drivers to abandon the use of private vehicles,” — said the Agency interlocutor.

The spokesman added that in connection with the forecast of units of the EMERCOM Central and Volga Federal districts is given in the mode of increased readiness.
