Russia can make USA claim due to the blocking of departmenti
St. PETERSBURG, 1 Jul — RIA Novosti. Moscow may make financial claims to the United States because of the damage caused by the unlawful blocking of the Russian opposition, told RIA Novosti the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“The Russian foreign Ministry does not exclude the possibility of financial claims United States because of damage from the illegal blocking of Russian property,” said Zakharova, responding to a question during a visit at the SPIEF stand MIA “Russia today”.
The administration of U.S. President Barack Obama at the end of December 2016 introduced a package of anti-Russian sanctions because of “intervention in election” and “pressure on American diplomats” working in Russia. Among other things, the United States has closed access to the two residential complexes, the so — called suburban dachas of Russia’s permanent mission in new York and the Russian Embassy in Washington, which is the Russian diplomatic property.
On Wednesday Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, commenting on the arrest of Russian property in the U.S., said that Moscow considers the internal difficulties of the US President Donald trump, but without a response it will not leave, if Washington will not do anything.
