Putin praised the successes of Russian animators
The President of Russia Vladimir Putin during the meeting with representatives of Russian animation studios noted the success of the industry. About it reports “Interfax” on Wednesday, may 31.
“In such a bright, talented, beautiful form you teach children to understand life, to distinguish truth from falsehood, good from evil, this is the most important task”, — said the head of state. At the same time Putin noted that animated films look not only children.
According to him, he knows about the difficulties of the industry. “However, the animation recaptures its place in cinema: here, in our country, and is increasingly insistent position in world cinema,” he said.
According to the Agency, in the meeting with the Russian President took part representatives of the leading animation studios. The event was devoted to problems and prospects of development of animation industry in Russia.
In early April, Vladimir Putin said that, in his opinion, every Russian should watch the Soviet cartoon “Nu, pogodi!”. Responding to the comment that the cartoon is propaganda of Smoking, he noted that it is now almost everywhere.
