His stepmother did not agree with their actions and tried to snatch the boy from their hands, but to no avail. Law enforcement said that the boy confessed to collecting money.

Stepmother of Oscar and his father are accused of administrative offences under articles 5.35 of the administrative code (“failure of the parent of the minor of duties on education”) and 19.3 of the administrative code (“disobedience to a lawful order of a police officer”).

On the website Change.org created a petition to dismiss police officers who conducted the arrest. At the time of this writing, it was signed by over 25 thousand people.
