Deputy Chairman of the government of the Leningrad region, the head of the regional Committee for agriculture and fisheries Sergey yakhnyuk in the lead in primaries “United Russia” Kingisepp single-mandate constituency. This is with reference to the Secretary of the regional branch of the party Sergey Bebenin, reports “Interfax” on Monday, may 29.
According to preliminary results voiced by Bebenin, yakhnyuk received 90.3 per cent of votes. In second place — the head of Department of the Center for special competences of the St. Petersburg branch of NOU DPO “Rosatom cice & t” Victor Kabatsky (20,86),
the third — Deputy Director, OOO “Interstroyproekt” Anton Moroz (20,61).
The other candidates did not overcome the five percent mark.
According to the Agency earlier Monday, Secretary of General Council of United Russia, Deputy speaker of the lower house of Parliament, Sergei Neverov said that the party will nominate the winners of the primaries for the fall elections. Appropriate decisions based on the results of advance voting, he said, should be taken at party conferences in the regions.
The mandate of the Deputy of the state Duma on one-mandatory district 112 Kingisepp in the Leningrad region became vacant in connection with the appointment of the speaker of the sixth convocation of the state Duma Sergei Naryshkin, head of the foreign intelligence Service last fall.
