LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky believes that the late American political scientist Zbigniew Brzezinski was the main enemy of Russia. On Saturday, may 27, according to radio station “Moscow Says”.
In his opinion, the world was not more negatively adjusted in relation to Moscow of a man, than Brzezinski. “His whole life was directed to make a bad Russian. He is always looking for a way to punish Russia, to destroy Russia, to dismember Russia”, — considers the head of the liberal democratic party.
Zhirinovsky believes that this position of the former adviser of US President James Carter was able to influence his Polish origin. According to the Deputy of the state Duma, “perhaps the relatives Brzezinski had once suffered under the Russian Empire.”
Zhirinovsky said that Brzezinski inflicted the greatest damage to U.S.-Russian relations. Currently, all US policy is much more lenient in this regard, he said.
According to the politician, the demise of Brzezinski will benefit Russia, as it will positively affect its relations with Washington. “Now I’m sure that will subside gradually, the wave of Russophobia. Has no source, nobody is so tough to press, to strangle, and with such hatred to Russia”, — said the Deputy.
Brzezinski died Friday, may 26, in 90-m to year of life in the American hospital of Virginia. He was born into a family of Polish diplomats, and then became a citizen of the United States, where she made her academic career.
