The deputies of the city Duma of Biisk has accepted the early resignation of the head of the city administration Nikolai Nonko. About it reports Regnum Thursday, may 25.

“Some Duma members openly admitted that the decision on early termination of powers of the head of administration of Biysk was unexpected for them, and they feel huge regret”, — noted in administration.

The mayor explained that he is leaving the post due to the fact that it can not renew the permit to state secrets due to living abroad relatives. He also asked colleagues not to seek “other implications” in its decision.

10 may in an interview with the newspaper “Our Biysk” Nonko said that as head of administration he is obliged to have a specific group of permit for work with classified documents. “It was always the second group of tolerance, then it was downgraded to the third group, and now the cities with a certain population of it is recycled to the second group of tolerance. In connection with this I have a problem,” he explained. The mayor also added that he never hid the fact that his son lives and works in the United States.

Nikolai Nonko was the head of the administration of Biysk in 2011.

According to the Federal law on state secrets, official or citizen can deny access to classified information if he or his close relatives live abroad. The corresponding decision is accepted the head of the responsible authority individually.
