British Prime Minister plans to cut the stay at the G7 summit after the attack

MOSCOW, may 25 — RIA Novosti. The Prime Minister of the UK Theresa may plans to cut the program of his stay at the G7 summit in Italy after the attack in Manchester and increase of level of terrorist threat in the country, Reuters reported, citing a source in the British government.

The G7 summit will be held 26-27 may in Taormina in Sicily. Earlier it was planned that the Prime Minister will remain until the end of the program, but now she intends to leave Italy after the first day of the summit.

“Based on the fact that we now have a critical threat level, and in connection with the current situation here, the Prime Minister plans to cut the program at the G7, so it will probably be back on Friday evening,” — said the Agency an unnamed representative of the British government.

The attack in Manchester occurred on the evening of may 22 during the concert of American singer Ariana Grande. A suicide bomber detonated a homemade bomb after the concert. According to recent reports, killed 22 people, including 12 children, 64 people remain in hospital, 20 of them in critical condition. In addition, nine people are still missing.
