The Director-nursing home in Krasnoyarsk region is accused in the death of 18 seniors

In Krasnoyarsk region charged the Director of the nursing home, which negligently caused the death of 18 patients. According to investigators, he provided them with services of inadequate quality. This was reported on the website of the regional Central Board of the Investigative Committee.

The Director is charged under part 3 of article 238 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“Rendering services not meeting requirements of safety, entailed on imprudence death of two or more persons”).

The investigation found that from September 2011 to June 2016, the defendant had entered into with the relatives of elderly citizens the contracts of paid rendering of services amounted to 15 thousand rubles per month and above. The Director of pension promised to provide pensioners with a medical assistance and call them an ambulance in case of deterioration.

Come into this place, the elderly are rarely more than two weeks, due to the fact that the Director did not call an ambulance. Victims found 15 families of the elderly, reports REN TV. Total killed 18 people aged 78 to 93 years.

A sanitary-epidemiological forensic examination revealed the unsanitary conditions, posing a threat to the life and health of the guests.

The accused pleaded not guilty and repented not of their deeds. The boarding house continues to work under a different name.

In 2015, Primorsky Krai human rights activists have documented the bruises in elderly patients, in an Autonomous nonprofit organization (ANO) “Lotus”. It was reported that in addition to beatings of the elderly were subjected to psychological abuse.
