Poroshenko: EU may extend sanctions against Russia

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced new sanctions against Russia, supported by Germany. They will come in the case, “if the Minsk agreement will not be executed,” according to the website of the President.

According to Poroshenko, the agreement on new sanctions was reached at the meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. “It is stated that Russia does not Minsk agreement,” – said Poroshenko.

He also referred to the “firm and consistent support of Germany.”

Note that among the points of the Minsk agreement – withdrawal of heavy equipment from the separation line in the Donbass. On the eve of Poroshenko said that he would send to the front line of “beauties” – the modernized T-80 tanks.

“The world should come to Ukraine”, – summed Poroshenko today.
