Moskalkova has supported idea to forbid teenagers to participate in protests

In her opinion, teenagers are not Mature in their political beliefs, can be subject to manipulation.

Moscow. May 23. INTERFAX.RU Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation supported the proposal of the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko to restrict minors ‘ participation in protests.

“I support its General thesis and attempt to develop additional mechanisms, tools, in order to prevent the participation of minors in the protests,” said Tatyana Moskalkova reporters on Tuesday.

The Commissioner recalled that for minors there are a number of restrictions on the financial issues, attending public events and behavior at night. “It aims to improve the security of minors,” she said.

Earlier, Valentina Matvienko in interview to the newspaper “Izvestia” said that does not rule out amendments to the legislation aimed at prohibiting involvement in illegal mass actions of minors. “Families, teachers, parent committees, the authorities should think how to avoid it”, she said.
