In the state Duma introduced a bill to increase fines for migrants

MOSCOW, may 23 — RIA Novosti. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev submitted to the state Duma a bill to increase administrative fines in case of improper execution of documents for residence in Russia to foreigners and individuals without Russian citizenship, reported on the website of the Cabinet.

“To amend the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation the draft Federal law “On introducing amendments to article 18.9 of the Code of the Russian Federation on administrative offences”, — stated in the text of the document.

The bill proposes to increase administrative fines for citizens — to 5 thousand roubles (now the sum is up to 4 thousand roubles), for officials — 50 thousand rubles (now up to 30 thousand rubles), for legal entities — up to 500 thousand roubles (now up to 300 thousand rubles).

The proposed initiative should improve the legislation to ensure national security, according to the FAQ on the government website.
