Found the source of innate intelligence
Scientists from the Netherlands, Sweden, the UK and the USA has found 40 genes responsible for the innate development of human intelligence. A study published in the journal Nature Genetics.
To find these genes, experts managed with the help of meta-analysis articles, including data about almost 80 thousand people of European descent, including children.
11 of the 40 genes were found genome-wide search for associations, and 29 whole-genome Association analysis. Their expression mainly in the brain and is associated with the development of nerve cells.
There are two competing views on the formation of human intelligence. According to the first, for its high level of responsible genetic factors, the second view assigns a decisive role to the upbringing and the external environment.
