Russia and Venezuela have agreed to monthly deliveries of wheat

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that soon will begin deliveries in the country of Russian wheat. His words are quoted by the Venezuelan news Agency (AVN), reports TASS.

“We are ready, and have signed all phytosanitary and trade agreements, and very soon Russia will supply to Venezuela on a consistent basis, 60 thousand tons of wheat per month, starting this year”, — said the President.

Thursday, may 18, Maduro held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin during which the sides discussed the situation on the oil market. Maduro also informed the Russian leadership about the political situation in Venezuela and on the measures undertaken to resolve the crisis.
