Medvedev recalled Mayakovsky’s work at the meeting of the Supervisory Board of Vnesheconombank

Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev began a session of Vnesheconombank’s Supervisory Board, Recalling a poem by Vladimir Mayakovsky in which the poet in a satirical way, criticized the bureaucratic routine. On Thursday, may 18, reports RIA Novosti.

“We are moving from one room to another. Members of the Parliament”, — said the Prime Minister, addressing the gathering.

Also during the meeting, Medvedev congratulated the staff of VEB with a decade of the establishment of the Corporation. “Ten years ago, was established by the development Bank, may 17, 2007. Different dates are considered, but, nevertheless, this is a good occasion to congratulate the staff of the Bank with the anniversary,” — said Medvedev.

VEB has worked under the names of Ruskombank, Vneshtorgbank and Vnesheconombank from 1920-ies.

The poem “Prozasedavshiesya” was first published in March 1922 in the newspaper “Izvestia”.

Work, in particular, praised Vladimir Lenin. “I don’t know about poetry, and about the policy promise that it’s absolutely correct. We really are in the position of people who all sit, make a fee, make plans to infinity” — said the leader of the proletariat.
