SAINT PETERSBURG, may 20. /TASS/. The remains of unidentified victims of the crash over the Sinai, which occurred at the end of October 2015, was buried at the Serafimovskoe cemetery in St. Petersburg. About this TASS said the Chairman of the Board of the Foundation “Flight 9268” Irina Zakharova.

Earlier it was reported that the issue of burial of unidentified victims of the Sinai will be finally settled after completion of all necessary procedures.

In November last year, the Chairman of Committee on social policy of Petersburg Alexander Rzhanenkov reported that the city authorities hope up to the end of 2016 to bury the unidentified remains of six victims of the crash.

The A321 aircraft “Kogalymavia” flying from the Egyptian resort of Sharm El-Sheikh to St. Petersburg, crashed in the Sinai Peninsula on October 31, 2015. On its Board there were 217 passengers and seven crew members, they all died. The FSB has described the incident as a terrorist attack. After that, Russia announced the suspension of air links with Egypt.
