Plenipotentiary representative of Russian President in the Siberian Federal district Sergey Menyailo went to Tungokochenskogo in the TRANS-Baikal region, where in the mine the miners declared a strike over unpaid wages, reports RIA “Novosti” with reference to the Siberian district information center.
“Sergei Menyailo, who was on a working trip in the Republic of Buryatia, urgently left the city of Ulan-Ude in Tungokochenskogo district in Zabaykalsky Krai. To use air transport is impossible due to the difficult weather conditions”, – is spoken in the message.
According to the apparatus Menyailo, may 18 at the mine South-West, OOO “Darasunskiy Rudnik” 81 the company’s employee refused to leave the mine due to the fact that, according to preliminary data, to date they are not paid wages for April.
The investigative Committee of Russia began checking the information on unpaid wages of the miners in the settlement of Vershino-Darasunskiy.
“Currently, there are insurance investigators together with employees of the Prosecutor’s office. In case of revealing of signs of non-payment of wages, the investigators will promptly take the necessary procedural decision”, – said the official representative of SU IC in the region Egor Markov.
