A resident of Munich has committed an act of self-immolation in the city centre

In Munich, the 54-year-old local resident set fire to himself in the centre of the city on the night of Friday, may 19. About it reported in a press-service of police of the Bavarian capital, according to the Stuttgarter Nachrichten.

It is noted that the man drove his car on the Marienplatz, a historic square in the centre of Munich, and poured a few liters of gasoline.

Passers-by put out the flames with men. After this he was taken to hospital where he died.

The reasons for his actions are investigated by the police. However, on the machine a man left two inscriptions marker: “With the German land should never start a war” and “amry is the tip of the iceberg”.
