The state Secretary of the German foreign Ministry Marcus Ederer appointed as the new head of the EU mission in Russia, said the press service of the head of European diplomacy Federica Mogherini. About it reports TASS.
In February it was reported that Ederer is the main candidate for the post of EU Ambassador to Russia. He was in the early 90-ies worked as economic adviser in the German Embassy in Moscow. The last time was one of the organizers of the negotiations “channel four”.
The Ambassador of EU in Russia, he was replaced by Vygaudas Usackas.
