The Ministry of justice will create a single database of Russians

The Ministry of justice is working to create a single population register, which will bring together information about all the Russians. On Monday, may 15, reported RIA Novosti head of the Department of legal aid and interaction with judicial system Alexander Dronov.

The clerk States that since the beginning of the year the Agency together with the Ministry of Finance and the Federal tax service carries a large project to create a single registry of the population. According to her, it is unprecedented for Russia resource, analogues of which are successfully operating in foreign countries.

Dronova has explained that the register will include data about each person, which “podstegivaet different connection.” We are talking about acts of civil status, tax history, offences and similar information.

On 5 September 2016, it was reported that Rosstat has proposed to make participation in all-Russian population census is obligatory, and to abandon the procedure was intended to penalize. Later, the Ministry denied this information, stating that the draft amendments to the law on census of population, submitted to the government, contains no provisions for compulsory participation of citizens and determines the administrative liability measures for failure to provide their data.
