The foreign Ministry urged to carefully weigh the risks associated with travel to Georgia

MOSCOW, may 15. /TASS/. The Russian foreign Ministry urges Russian citizens to carefully weigh the risks associated with travel to Georgia.

This was stated in the Russian depodesta in connection with the decision of Georgia to introduce the former mayor of Moscow Yury Luzhkov in the so-called black list.

“Anyway, the Russian foreign Ministry is compelled to once again draw the attention of Russian citizens to the need to carefully weigh the risks associated with travel to Georgia, — stressed in dipvedomstva. — However, note that in the absence of diplomatic relations, broken by the Georgian side, the section of Russian interests at the Swiss Embassy in Tbilisi has rather limited possibilities to protect citizens from tyranny.”

The foreign Ministry said that Tbilisi continues provocations that undermine the process of healing the relations with Moscow. “Drew attention to the statement of the Georgian authorities on introducing the former mayor of Moscow Yury Luzhkov in the list of “undesirable persons” because of his previous visits to the Republic of Abkhazia and Republic of South Ossetia, — said in depodesta. — As you can see, the official Tbilisi continues a systematic provocations that undermine the process of improvement of relations with Russia.”

“To rationalize such behavior is difficult because of the Russian-Georgian normalization brings tangible benefits to the economy and citizens of Georgia”, — stressed in the Ministry.
