The Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill explained the reasons for the attacks on the Church, the efforts of the sentencing blogger Ruslan Sokolovsky, who caught the pokemon in the Orthodox Church. He told about it on Saturday, may 13, after the divine Liturgy at Butovo of Moscow, reports “Interfax”.

According to him, the criticism, in particular, due to the fact that the Church makes a man inwardly free, makes it impossible to manipulate them. “Those who wish to control the public, people’s consciousness, you know that, as long as the Church, total control will never be”, — said the Patriarch.

Kirill said that people in today’s information world “EN masse become slaves of ideas, political concepts points of view”, considering himself free.

“Sometimes outraged our innate moral sense, when it seems that it is obvious that the person behaves unacceptably, for example, offends the religious feelings of the people, but we try to explain that this is freedom”, he added.

May 11, Verkh-Isetsky court of Yekaterinburg Sokolowski was sentenced to 3.5 years of probation. He was found guilty of inciting hatred or enmity, and with insulting the feelings of believers and the illicit trafficking of special technical means (during the search he found a pen with a video camera).

21-year-old blogger posted a video in which he plays Pokemon GO in the Temple-on-Blood in Yekaterinburg, built on the site of the execution of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II and his family in August last year. After that he became involved in the case.
