Crocodiles ate the priest, to demonstrate how Jesus walked on water
MOSCOW, may 15 — RIA Novosti. In Zimbabwe, three crocodile attacked and ate a Church leader Jonathan Mthethwa, who wanted to demonstrate how Jesus walked on water, reports the Daily Mail.
The incident occurred in the area, which is inhabited by a large number of predators. The priest led his disciples to demonstrate one of the miracles described in the Bible — the walking of Christ on water. As writes the edition, Mthethwa entered the water, walked about thirty meters and at the moment when he was going to go ashore, he was attacked by three crocodiles.
“We still don’t understand how this could happen, as he prayed for a whole week, and the crocodiles finished it just a couple of minutes”, — commented on the incident one of the students Mthethwa.
The publication notes that at the time of arrival of emergency personnel, the priest was already dead.
