Lavrov was surprised by the hype in the media about the photos of his meeting with trump
Moscow. May 14. INTERFAX.RU — Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Lavrov admitted that does not know why there was hype around the photos taken during his meeting with U.S. President Donald trump in Washington on may 10.
“Don’t know”, — he answered the question of why there was a scandal in the American press.
“The white house explained that no scandal was not. A hanging, it was all approved as well as against other Ministers,” — said the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, some us media, including publishing the Washington Post reported that former American intelligence officials expressed concern that the meeting of US President Donald trump and Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov in the White house were allowed a photographer from the Russian side.
According to interlocutors of the edition, there was a danger that with the cameras in the Oval office could be secretly carried the listening equipment.
