The White house did not expect that Russian authorities will allow you to publish pictures with a closed-door meeting in the oval office of the foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov and U.S. President Donald trump, CNN reports with reference to the representative of the administration of the American leader.

With Lavrov in the White house the US President met yesterday, may 10. The foreign Ministry later said that the meeting of politicians lasted for 40 minutes. At the event, according to CNN, there were both Russian and American photographers. However, the White house, according to the channel, photos from the meeting did not place. Pictures, as noted by the publication, appeared only in the Russian TASS and Twitter of the MFA of Russia.

Earlier, on 11 may, that the meeting of Lavrov and trump were banned from attending the press, told journalists CBC News and The Washington Post.
“Russian photography”, as passed the newspaper, was the only “public evidence” about the event, despite the fact that the photographer TASS, wrote The Washington Post, arrived together with Lavrov on the plane. In the White house he, according to the newspaper, was submitted as the official photographer.
Official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said later that compiling lists of journalists who could attend the meeting, was involved in the American side. “Exactly so many photographers, how much from Washington was allowed, so many of them and was present,” said she.
