The Governor of the Novosibirsk region Vladimir Gorodetsky has signed the decree on establishment of the Council fathers. Reports about it “Taiga.info” Thursday, may 11.
Advisory body formed to “strengthen the family institution” and “increasing the responsibility of fathers in the upbringing of children,” reads the document referenced in the online edition. Its decisions will be Advisory in nature.
The Council is headed by the Governor. The new body consists, in particular, the head of the Committee of the legislative Assembly of the Novosibirsk region on social policy Igor Grishunin, head of Department of implementation of social projects Ministry of social development of the region Pavel Kuching, as well as local deputies and heads of cultural institutions.
