Founded by Elizaveta Glinka, known as Dr. Lisa, the Fund “Fair use” is officially renamed. About it RIA Novosti said a member of the Board of the organization Natalia Avilova.
“The organization’s staff, volunteers, guide — to, on the one hand, to maintain continuity, and on the other to reflect in the title the name of the founder of the organization Elizabeth Glinka — decided to change the name. And now our organization will be called “Fair use Dr. Lisa”” she said.
The relevant documents are submitted to the Ministry of justice. It is planned that all procedures will be completed within a month. The Fund also will change the status — it will work as an international charitable organization.
After the death of Glinka President of the Foundation was the journalist Ksenia Sokolova, which was previously a Trustee of the organization.
Elizaveta Glinka was among the passengers of the plane Tu-154 of the Ministry of defense which crashed near Sochi on 25 December 2016. The aircraft, bound for the Syrian Latakia, disappeared from radar screens shortly after takeoff. On Board were 92 people, including artists of the song and dance ensemble of Alexandrov, as well as journalists. They all died.
Glinka founded the international public organization “Fair use” in 2007. The Fund gave financial support and provided medical assistance to cancer patients, poor patients and the homeless.
