Putin congratulated the Russians on the Victory Day

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin during the Victory day Parade on red square congratulated the Russians on May 9. Video stream available on the website TASS.

In his speech, the President noted that there has not been and will not force that could enslave the Russian people, and the participants of the great Patriotic war will never be ashamed of the current residents.

“Our people fought to the death defending their land and made the seemingly impossible — launched a bloody back wheel of the Second world war, drove the enemy from the place where he dared to come to our land, crushed Nazism put an end to his atrocities,” he said.

According to Putin, these days, to effectively combat terrorism, extremism, neo-Nazism, other threats need to consolidate the whole international community. “We are open for such cooperation”, — he stressed.
