Security zone with a special legal regime will be installed on all Russian nuclear power plants with the aim of improving their anti-terrorist security, the corresponding order of the government of the Russian Federation published on the official portal of legal information.
Under the decree, such areas fall nuclear installations, radioactive waste storage, radiation sources, storage facilities for nuclear materials in all 10 operating Russian nuclear power plants and nuclear installations for future floating nuclear power station “Academician Lomonosov”.
