James Komi
James Komi does not believe the newspaper reports about his resignation. According to The New York Times, news about relevant decree of the President of Donald trump caught the FBI Director during a speech to employees of the office in Los Angeles (California).
Seeing on the TV screen scrolling with urgent news, Komi laughed and called it a “pretty good draw”. However, accompanying the Director started giving signs that he needs to stop performing and go into the office. There he announced his resignation.
Trump fired Komi Republic on the recommendation of the Minister of justice, attorney General Jeff and Roman sessions. As stated in the letter former FBI Director, he “is not able to effectively lead” the Department. According to the White house, Komi abused their powers, independently closing the case against Hillary Clinton of any unauthorized use of the private e-mail server.
Former employee of U.S. intelligence Edward Snowden said that against the decision of trump send Komi to resign. “The Director of the FBI for many years trying to put me in jail for my political activities. If I can oppose his resignation, so can you” – he wrote in his Twitter.
The acting Director of the FBI appointed 49-year-old Andrew McCabe. Prior to this he held the position of Deputy head of Department.
